This 29 Bayfield comes with a modified floorplan that provides an enlarged galley. The starboard quarter berth has been deleted, and the galley has been extended around and into the corner. A refrigerated ice chest has been installed into the starboard corner of the new galley counter, and the original ice chest that was under the chart table, has been replaced with storage for 2 batteries. The starboard cockpit lazarette has been opened up for huge deep storage. An upgraded electrical panel and the electronics have been installed along the port wall at the chart table. Opening ports with screens add more ventilation.

The Bayfield 29 has a solid reputation as a comfortably designed cruiser, offering a safe, stable ride in all conditions. Her shallow draft makes her an ideal island cruiser capable of slipping into anchorage that would be off-limits to most boats this size.
