Classic Monk 36 Trawler

Pride of ownership is very evident throughout this very tastefully decorated Monk 36. SAKADO is equipped to travel anywhere in the comfort and style made possible by a traditional trawler design. The upswept, highly flared bow contributes to a smooth, dry ride in most weather. Raised bulwarks and a high rail make movement around the house safe and secure. A bow thruster, generator and heat/air unit, are just a few of the optional items rounding out an extensive equipment list. SAKADO cruises at 7 - 8 knots, and has a range of approximately 850 miles.

This freshwater Monk 36 has made one three-month trip south, with the balance of her life spent cruising the Great Lakes. Meticulously maintained by knowledgeable owners, there are ten-years of maintenance logs available for review .
